Qaswa Prime

Pre-primary - Year 7

We believe that children need to feel comfortable, safe and happy to learn. They also need to feel like they want to learn and feel good learning their religion.

Our weekend madrasah is designed especially to create a place where children would enjoy coming to, a place where they belong and make good friends.

Teach your children three things;

Love for the Prophet, love for his family, and recitation of the Quran.

- Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H)

At the very core, Islamic education is about love. Qaswa strives to spreading the Prophetic love and mercy to our children.

Qaswa education philosophy lies in three words; knowledge, practice, and service.

Where knowledge leads to practices to uplifts spirituality and provides the foundation and strength to serve humanity.

Quran Studies

Quran Studies

We don't just want our students to be able to read the Quran, we want them fall in love with the Quran.

We don't just want our students to be able to read the Quran, we want them fall in love with the Quran.

Muqaddam

We preserve the traditional method of Quranic teaching; the Muqaddam.

We designed our Muqaddam to be explicit and easy for children, using the same Arabic font as the Madinah Mushaf and integrating high frequency Quranic words.

We strive to ensure that our students have fun in the Muqaddam class.

We use games, songs, art, and crafts to keep the students engaged. We believe that students learn better when they are motivated by love, rather than fear.

Quran

We take Quran studies beyond recitation. We learn tajweed, tafseer, and memorisation.

Yet like everything else we do at Qaswa, we will always incorporate fun in our learning, especially when it comes to Quran.

We learn one surah at a time. Analyse tajweed rules. Learn tafseer and do art pieces from the lessons of the surah. We do not rush to finish the Quran. We want to make Quran study part of our lifestyle.

Curriculum

We aim to equip children with the Islamic basics of Islam, Iman and Ihsan.

Our aim is to make children understand and be able to answer the question, "Why am I a muslim?" and "Why do I love being a Muslim?", when we are clear on the ‘why’ the ‘how’ will flow through smoothly.

Fiqh.

Aqeedah.

Tazkiyyah.

And Fun.

Our specially designed syllabi links all the three important components of Islam into one integrated fun-filled curriculum.

Every ritual is motivated by faith that is grounded by reason which leads to spiritual growth.

Al-Ghazali

Our curriculum is based on Imam al-Ghazali's magnum opus; Revival of Religious Sciences.

The great imam fused faith, practice and spiritual purification into one learning system. Every act of worship has an outer and inner dimension; where the outer dimension relates to the rituals and the inner dimension purifies the soul.

Friendship

Friendship

A person is on the religion of his best friend.

A person is on the religion of his best friend.

Towards the #MiddlePath is our philosophy. We would love to have well balanced Australian Muslim children. During the madrasah, we have designated break time and activities to build friendships among our children and also to teach them team work and good values.

Tools & Technology

The most powerful tools for learning are the ones students love to use.

The world of education is rapidly changing and the challenge is too keep the students engaged. Maktab app uses the tools that students love to use and provide them with beneficial yet engaging content. It is an app that trains students to memorise and understand the Quran in a fun and engaging manner.
